Today was the finish up craft day. I have a craft sale on Saturday and needed to get things finished up so I don't have to worry. I have a couple more to finish but I don't feel nearly as stressed as I did this morning. My wonderful hubby made my business cards and earring board today. I can't wait to see them.

Day 112

I spotted this bird nest in one of the apple trees in the back yard. The bird that made this found yarn and stuffing to help make it. It is amazing how creative birds can be! The stuffing must have made a soft nest for all the babies that this nest protected.

Day 111

Nicolas was the weather helper at school the other day. He did so good speaking in front of all the kids and teachers. He loved doing it and I hope that he never has the fear that most of us have with public speaking.

Day 110

One of my favorite birds is the blue jay. They aren't always the easiest bird to photograph though. They are very skittish. But this one was on the top of one of the pine trees and thanks to my zoom lens I was able to get a pretty good photo of him. Now I am hoping to get photo's of my other favorites. The chickadee and cardinal.

Day 109

What a beautiful morning. There is really heavy frost on the lawn. It was also on the snow ball bush (my first photo of the day). Even though it is no longer a fresh blossom, it is still beautiful. Especially with the frost on it.

Day 108

Benjamin giving me a beautiful smile this morning. It is picture re-take day at school. I am hoping that they get a smile as nice as this one!

Day 107

Nicolas has lost one of his upper front teeth. The one next to it is also loose. I wonder if it will fall out before the first one grows in. It hasn't started to yet so time will tell.

Day 106

After taking a few weeks off, I am back.
Today's photo is of Amanda and her birthday cake. What a blessing she has been in my life.

Day 103

Nicolas playing soccer. He was waiting for the ball to get to him. He has really started like playing. It is fun to watch him play now.

Day 102

I have a children' s story forming in my head about the beautiful woods and the secret little spots that you find there. I have had it "forming" for a few years now. I've taken quite a few out door photo's that I would like to sketch and put into the book. This just may be one of the photo's that I would use. It was such a beautiful spot and I think it would be a perfect place to go and sit quietly and read and just to be.

Day 101

Father and son.

Day 100

We took the boys for a walk this afternoon, out back, in the woods. Getting a 5 and 6 year old to be quite is almost impossible. I was hoping to get some wild life photo's but they successfully scared everything away. Jim had them lay on the forest floor and look at the sky and they actually did it for a while. While they were being quiet the chickadees were chirping back and forth and flying over head. Today's photo is one of the chickadees sitting over head enjoying the beautiful day.

Day 99

>We had a bit of snow on the ground this morning. My son came in this morning and announced that it snowed last night. It was barely light out and I just wanted him to go back to bed but he insisted that I come and check it out. So I did. I wasn't nearly as impressed by it as he was. It is gone now but I did get a photo of it this morning. He is rather disappointed that it is gone now. I'm sure he won't have to wait much longer and we will have more.

Day 98

Today I went on a field trip with Benjamin's kindergarten class. Everyone had a great time. I saw this corn on the way out of the farm and had to take a picture of it.

Day 97

I read to the boys in the morning after they have eaten breakfast and gotten ready for school. Excuse the messy hair, my hubby took the photo's with no advance warning! He also took pic's of the boys this morning. Benjamin is being a goof and Nicolas wasn't quite ready either.

Day 96

I finished the dress that I have been working on. I haven't been putting much time on it or it could have been done much sooner. I am quite happy how the zipper turned out, you can't even see it!!

Day 95

A view from across the road.

Day 94

Autumn is almost over here in NY. But at times you still see something pretty.

Day 93

These are the boys pumpkins. They can't wait to carve them.

Day 92

I've been feeling creative.

Day 91

Just some things I made. I received a check from my insurance company for having a mammogram so I used the money to buy some new beads.

Day 90

This was such a tiny pumpkin I had to take a photo of it.

Day 89

I won this bird feeder at a banquet on Friday. I had been wanting one but didn't want to buy one. The birds are finally finding it. It has been up since Saturday and today is the first day that they have been eating from it.

Day 82

I thought this was pretty in an out doorsies sort of way.

Day 81

I went to the park today to take photos. I took so many really cool ones that it was hard to pick just one to put on here.

Day 80

Benjamin taking a rest on his soccer ball.

Day 79

Little mushrooms I found in the back yard. It was so rainy this year that the fungus did well!

Day 77

This morning when I got up I saw this beautiful sunrise. I had to go out and get a photo of it. It was sprinkling even though the clouds seemed to be thin. Now it is raining. The bible says in Matthew 16:2-3 "When evening comes, you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,' (3) and in the morning, 'Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast. This is so true!
